The State House Inn Springfield

If you are looking for something a little different when going out on the town in Springfield, check out the The State House Inn’s lounge, also known as “The No Name Bar” is open Monday thru Saturday at 4:00pm.
The bar is very cool, with a retro vibe that you really don’t come across in Springfield(at least not on purpose.) It has a very space/60’s theme going on. And it has a piano lounge on the outside of the bar.
The hotel was originally opened in 1961, with a reopening in 2003 after a three year, $8 million complete renovation. Now a registered Historic building in the City of Springfield, The State House Inn sits within a five mile radius of almost every Abraham Lincoln Springfield site in Springfield, including Lincoln’s Home National Historic Site, Lincoln’s tomb, The Lincoln-Herndon Law Office, and of course his Presidential Library and Museum.
