Swine Flu in Springfield?

Posted on May 2, 2009 by admin

According to the SJ-R.com, swine flu may have made it to Sangamon County. Jim Stone, director of the Sangamon County Department of Public Health, said there are five suspect cases, with one being a probable match for the current flu strain that is causing near hysteria in the world. Whether this leads to local schools or businesses being shut down remains to be seen.

As always public officials encourage everyone to wash their hands and cover their mouth when coughing.
